Winter Aid 2020/2021 – Thank you!

Every winter Aschiana supports children and their families living in the harshest conditions in the IDP camps outside Kabul, by distributing vital supplies to keep them alive. This year thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Friends of Aschiana UK was able to help Aschiana provide food, blankets and Covid protection materials to families in Husain Khail IDP camp, just outside Kabul. This protected over 800 children and adults against the sub-zero temperatures in the three months of winter in Afghanistan.

A huge thank you to all our supporters who kindly donated and special gratitude to the supporters and friends of Ms Noal Zaher for their unfailing kindness and generosity to this cause.

REOPEN ASCHIANA’S SCHOOLS

We are now determined to help Aschiana reopen its schools in the IDP camps, closed by the pandemic. They provide an education and a hot meal a day to children who would otherwise end up illiterate and trapped in extreme poverty.
